Help and healing is possible if someone has seriously hurt you. Parkland believes you and wants to help you heal. Parkland's free services help survivors and witnesses heal from trauma and abuse, including: domestic/family violence, sexual assault, childhood abuse, aggravated assault, survivors of homicide, and human trafficking. Parkland provides free counseling/therapy, advocacy, and case management services. Who can receive the free services? Dallas County residents, including: women, men, youth, children (ages four and up). Parkland can help, no matter when it happened. Parkland will not ask about income or immigration status. The trauma-informed staff speaks English and Spanish. Help in other languages is available as needed.
