Chest Compression Training

About the Program
Host Organization:
Description:
Hands-only CPR training is quick, easy and lifesaving. In less than the time it takes to watch most reality TV shows, a person as young as nine can learn to perform chest compressions, potentially helping a cardiac arrest victim become a real-life Survivor. There is no charge for MedStar’s chest compression training. Host locations should provide an adequate space and setting for attendees, audio / visual equipment for presenting a DVD and a 6-foot table. MedStar will provide the training materials and Chest Compression Champ cards for those who complete the session. Chest Compression Training events can be scheduled for group settings with more than 10 people in attendance. Requests for training must be received no fewer than 2 weeks in advance and will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. Training is subject to instructor availability for locations within MedStar’s service area (Fort Worth, Blue Mound, Burleson, Edgecliff Village, Forest Hill, Haltom City, Haslet, Lake Worth, Lakeside, River Oaks, Saginaw, Sansom Park, Westover Hills, Westworth Village and White Settlement.)
